DCS lets the Cat out of the bag |

| With the increased use of Cat5E style cables for Audio Visual applications, Direct Cable Systems are pleased to announce the introduction of two new high spec cables. “Ultra low Skew” UTP has be designed solely for use as a low cost RGB analogue video transmission cable, the four twisted pairs feature a constant pair lay with a maximum time differential of 2.0 nano seconds per 100M between any two pairs. This allows for the R,G,B components to arrive with a near zero time delay. As a result timing errors are minimized allowing for the video signals to remain synchronized. “Heavy duty tactical CAT5E” is a 350MHz cable for portable or remote Ethernet networks or digital audio/visual formats. Unlike other cables of this type which have stranded conductors HDCT5E features solid conductors for lower attenuation allowing for the full TIA distances for CAT5E networking to be utilized. HDCAT5E also features a double jacket construction from flexible TPE. The inner jacket maintains the correct physical spacing between pairs to achieve ISO/IEC or TIA CAT5E specifications, while the durable outer jacket protects the cable from external damage and abuse. |

DCS expands Evolution speaker cable range |

| Direct Cable Systems Ltd, the UK-based cable and connector specialist, has recently launched a new range of Evolution XPC OFC 4.0mm speaker cables to compliment its existing range of 1.5 2.5 and 6.0mm cables currently available. The new 4.0mm cable is supplied in a variety of formats including 2x4.0mm 4x4.0mm 8x4.0mm and 18x4.0mm and is designed with the users of L’Acoustics sound reinforcement in mind. This flexible range of OFC speaker cables can be terminated comfortably into the Evolution EPA-CON, found in Direct Cable Systems new 124 page colour catalogue. |
