To complement our range of professional looms Direct Cable Systems offer a comprehensive range of multipin looms to suit all applications for modern digital & analogue equipment. Looms within this range are manufactured to the same exacting standard as our professional range and can be assembled with a choice of either Evolution XPC OFC multicore or AES/EBU 110Ohm digital multicore both with reduced diameter to suit the various multipin applications available.

The following is a brief overview of standard looms commonly required. As with all DCS systems, any permutation or specification can be bespoke manufactured at short notice to your exact requirements.

Broadcast standard 26 pole Mil spec systems comprising of cable assemblies, breakout cables (flails) and breakout boxes. All assemblies use Evolution XPC OFC broadcast Quad and are wired to BBC convention, male with locking ring and female with posts. Eash assembly is supplied with protective gaiters, and adhesive heatshrink is used for added protection. If required connector covers can be fitted for maximum protection.

The opticalCON system is based on LC-Duplex connectors but eliminates its weakness and guarantees a safe, dust protected and rugged connection. Being compatible to conventional LC connectors the opticalCON DUO offers the choice of using cost effective LC cables or the rugged opticalCON cable assembly for mobile applications. The opticalCON DUO is the ideal solution for equipment connections and system integration offering LC compatibility on chassis connector front and rear.

The opticalCON DUO cable connector accommodates a standard optical LC-Duplex connector in a ruggedized and durable all-metal housing. It features a spring loaded push-pull locking mechanism and an excellent cable retention utilizing aramid yarn. The optical connection is exceptional well protected against dirt and dust by an automatically operated sealing cover.
The cable connector comes pre-assembled and is not available as a single component. The cable is available in different lengths and is packed either in a case, on drum or airspool.

The opticalCON MTP® cable connector is characterized by the robust all-metal housing and the heavy-duty strain relief. The innovative spherical dust shutter protects the fiber from contamination and minimizes maintenance. The color-coded cable connector is pre-assembled and available in a variety of mobile field cables.

The opticalCON QUAD is based on the proven opticalCON DUO connection system but with four channels it is optimized for Point-to-Point interconnections and multi-channel routing applications. The system copes with the increasing need for fiber optic channels.

Direct Cable Systems Professional Audio Assemblies are manufactured and tested to the highest standards by our in house wiring team. Evolution XPC OFC Cable and Neutrik connectors are used exclusively resulting in a range of cables used with confidence by professionals across the industry.

A comprehensive range of Fibre optic cables, custom lengths can be manufactured to order. Patchcords are constructed from high quality connectors and either OM1/2/3 or OS1 grade cable. Each cable has a short strain relief boot and is supplied with a test report detailing insertion loss. All of the patch cords come with an LSOH jacket and are individually bagged and labelled.

Evolution XPC Hybrid camera cable precision terminated with Lemo connectors as standard supplied with a choice of gaiters, clear heatshrink and Velcro cable tie. Cables conform to SMPTE 311M. We also supply Furukawa assemblies in both ARIB & SMPTE standards.

Evolution XPC OFC professional Video Multicores terminated with "True" 75 Ohm turned BNC connectors with colour coded cores and strain relief boots. Fitted with Velcro cable tidy and clear heatshrink as standard.

Direct Cable Systems professional speaker cables are manufactured using the industry standard Neutrik connectors and Evolution XPC OFC range of speaker cables in black.

All cables are supplied with a Velcro cable tie and a length of clear heak shrink for individual labelling.
